Cold Snap brings Arc Raiders winter, with its new risks and rewards.

Arc Raiders Cold Snap features some seasonal winter changes with snow maps and a Frostbite-based survival mechanic. Two limited time events are available to earn rewards. A brand new Raider Deck is included, full of gear that you unlock by playing.
Arc Raiders Expedition, which launches in the coming weeks, will allow you to reset or prestige your progress as well as receive certain rewards and buffs. Cold Snap is available from Tuesday, December 16th at 1:30am Pacific Standard Time / 10:30am Central European Time and will continue until Tuesday, January 13th at the same time.
Across all regions, Arc Raiders Cold Snap begins on the 16th.

Here's a quick overview of what you can expect from the Cold Snap:
New snow maps. The Blue Gate, Buried city, Dam Battlegrounds, and Spaceport maps will all have winter variants.
Frostbite. In the new, snowy climate, frostbite is a real thing. Cold weather can drain your energy.
Candleberry Buffett project and the Flickering-Flames event – Two seasonal challenges with exclusive loot and rewards. Both are based around Arc Raiders Candleberries.
Goalie Raider deck - A new raider deck arriving on December 26.
Expedition Project, a brand-new prestige mode, allows you to reset and reset your progress for buffs, bonuses, and rewards.
Arc Raiders Cold Snap weather conditions
Arc Raiders’ Cold Snap introduces the snowstorms in specific maps. This new condition will reduce visibility and cause the lakes to become frozen, making it far more dangerous than ever before for those who are exposed. Snow and frost will accumulate on maps, altering their appearance and physical characteristics. It's a risky proposition to venture into Dam Battlegrounds. Buried Cities, Spaceports and The Blue Gate.
Cold Snap has a new Raider Card, and it's free to those who own the game. The new stuff is due to arrive on December 26. You can unlock Raider tokens as well cosmetic items and an outfit with ice hokey inspiration.
Flickering Flames - a season event - will unlock rewards at 25 different levels in Arc Raiders. Included in this are new gear customisation options and Raider Tokens. The new rewards will be awarded to you via the Merits you'll receive from the XP that you earn during a round. This event requires you to play 5 rounds.
Cold Snap Candleberry Banquet Project (another new Arc Raiders project) has you searching for Candleberries, unique items, and other special items. There are five levels to this challenge. Each one reveals a brand new scene at the banquet. Only with more death on the surface. As you move up the levels, you will get rewards such as cosmetics, Raider Tokens, or Merits. These rewards will also be used to contribute towards the Flickering Flames above. |
